A busy couple of weeks for Mossley Hill athletes

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for our Mossley Hill athletes, on 18th October, Ian Williams and Tony Metcalfe competed in the World Duathlon Championships in Adelaide, Australia, representing Great Britain in their age categories. Ian came 39th in the 50-54 category and Tony was 15th in the 60-64 age category. Congratulations to both on two great performances and what an honour to represent your country,

On the same day, Lisa Crosby was in Amsterdam running her first marathon, a fantastic performance and a brilliant time of 3 hours 27minutes.

Saturday 25th October saw the first fixture in the Liverpool & District Cross Country fixtures. The first race was at Beacon Hill, Upholland. Well done to our two runners Dom Cooper and Helen Davies for turning out for the club
